Doctoral Candidate— King's College London & Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin
I am a doctoral candidate in the King's College London - Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin Joint PhD programme. Before that I completed an MPhilStud in Philosophy at King's College London.
My primary research interests lie in Kant's theoretical philosophy, and specifically his account of the mind and its capacities. I am also interested in contemporary philosophy of mind, and its relation to metaphysics and epistemology. In this area, I am primarily interested in perception and temporal consciousness. I am also interested in post- and neo-Kantian 19th and 20th century German philosophy.
In my dissertation I offer a novel reading of Kant's account of the mind, with a focus on the role of inner sense and temporality. I think that appreciating the mind's temporality is central to a correct understanding of it, and that Kant understood this as well.
In my free time I like to ride bicycles in all their varied forms.
